Key Lime Pie for Easter

If you’re looking for a fast make-ahead pie for Easter, try my family’s favorite–key lime pie.

Every family has a go-to dessert,at my house it’s Key Lime Pie. During the summer when key-limes are easy to come by at the grocery store I use those. During winter months when they cannot be found in Georgia, I use limes.

My kids have played around with the flavoring and substituted pink lemonade and orange juice instead of limes. Any juice will do, and I’m sure it will be fabulous. The only version we all nixed was key lime in a chocolate graham pie crust.

Chocolate Kisses Coffee Cake

We all know any recipe that includes a bag of chocolate Hershey Kisses is going to be a keeper.

This is one of those recipes.

I’ve had it so long I’ve forgotten exactly who gave it to me although I know it was a co-worker years ago. When I brought it out earlier in the month and made it for breakfast my kids just about had a fit (that’s Southern for real excited). It was their first time to eat a chocolate coffee cake.

Marshmallow Pops

Marshmallow Pops dipped in chocolate and Oreos / photo by Kellie Renfroe

Today I’m over at MMCW sharing a new family favorite treat, marshmallow pops. Dipped in chocolate and rolled in Oreo cookie crumbs, what can be better! Super-easy to make, I love being able to freeze these for afternoon snacks or a party.
